"Searching For Me"

 
Dear heart of mine, hear me cry
 
Stuck in me the reason why
 
I hear the sigh from deep inside.
 
Release the anger that creeps my mind
 
And set me free so I can see
 
The beauty that resides in me.


I cannot wonder why this is to be
 
Somehow this just can't be me
 
There is someone else inside
 
Just aching to be free.
 
I wonder why, I just can't seem to see
 
The woman I believe is me.

"Faith's Tune"
 

There is a time we all must play a tune
 
Something that beats in our hearts
 
Strong enough for love to flow
 
A melody we just know
 
When words are really not enough
 
And we'll call it all our own.
 


I found mine among the birds at play
 
They followed me all through my day
 
This tune for me, is all my own.
 
But we all know that it is true
 
The tunes we find come from within
 
So, I've decided to call it
 
All my own, and
 
My ever faithful inner soul.

"Changes"
 

Feeling a change tonight 
 
somehow I am different
 
Maybe seeing better now
 
actually it's just remembering.
 


The crunch seems upon me,
 
as this life of mine is changing
 
So soon I shall be free,
 
but I just can't help remembering.
 


Days that I felt this blue
 
life did not seem so true
 
Time has no bounds,
 
the you as I remember you.
 


This time it is for keeps,
 
and tomorrow comes for me
 
But the we that shall never be,
 
just keeps haunting me.
 


All that is familiar today,
 
hopefully, tomorrow
 
will soon be just a stranger.

And whatever is worth remembering,
 
I pray,
 
Will soon,
 
just become a memory.
