I've got a question
 
Crawling through my mind

It hasn't found it's place yet
 
Or even formed a spine.

I know that it's in there
 
Just trying to find a rhyme.
 
When it finally can emit
 
A little piece of mind.
 
I can feel it searching
 
And making a dotted line.

It isn't in a hurry
 
Or it wouldn't take it's time.
 
What could it be this question
 
That hovers over me.
 
Why it certainly isn't showing
 
And it isn't giving many hints.

If you can understand 
 
You would certainly know 
 
That the map I draw 
 
Is called... 
 
My suspicion.

Steady stream

Heavy scream
 
Was meant to see
 
Through lies

"Second Thoughts"
 

Now that the time grows closer
 
So soon we will be over
 
The times that I come close to you
 
Just seem to seer my mind
 
I can't stop loving you
 
No matter how hard I try. 
 

I wait, for something to show me
 
That we can try once more.
 
To remain the way we are right now
 
Then at times I am reminded
 
Of days gone by, 
 
And how we used to be.
 
Same ol resentments come rushing back
 
It just makes me lose my mind.


So honey if anytime you need me
 
Please don't hesitate to call
 
I still have enough love to cover
 
Just in case if you should fall.
 
Remember, forever is such a long long time.
 
And never means nothing at all.

These days go by so swiftly
 
They seem like nothing at all

It seems like an eternity
 
Since we have spoken a word
 
I can't imagine why
 
You just don't return my calls.
 

Some of this hasn't happened yet
 
Perhaps it never will.
 
It's just me comtemplating
 
Me, living without you.

Here I sit with all I have
 
Came to grips with none of it.
 

Alone I am and wondering
 
Why I can't touch any of it.
 

Here we are, you and me
 
Sitting here trying to see.
 

How everything moved so swiftly
 
Without reaching any of it.
 

So, now here you are, and not realizing it
 
Sitting alone where I used to sit.
